Terms of Service

By creating an account or using VoltEstimate, you agree to these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

VoltEstimate provides estimating and quoting software for solo electricians and small electrical businesses. We help you create, send, and track estimates and manage client follow-up.

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue features with reasonable notice. We are not responsible for the accuracy, legality, or fitness of any estimates or content you create using the service — that is your responsibility as the professional issuing them.

You agree to use VoltEstimate only for lawful purposes. You must not:

• Create fraudulent, misleading, or illegal estimates or communications
• Use the service to harass, spam, or harm third parties
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to other accounts or our systems
• Reverse-engineer, scrape, or interfere with the service
• Violate any applicable law or regulation

Violation of these terms may result in immediate account suspension or termination, without refund.

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. You must provide accurate information when registering and keep it up to date. Do not share your account with others outside your business.

You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.

Your estimate data, client records, and business information remain yours. We do not claim ownership of content you create using VoltEstimate.

You grant us a limited licence to store and process your content solely to provide the service.

You are responsible for ensuring that the client contact details you use and the emails sent on your behalf comply with applicable laws and that you have a lawful basis to contact your clients.

VoltEstimate is available on a subscription basis. A free trial is provided for new accounts — no payment method required during the trial. The trial duration and estimate limits are displayed at sign-up and on the pricing page.

After the trial, a paid subscription is required to continue using the service. Subscriptions are available monthly or annually. Prices are displayed in USD and are subject to change with reasonable notice.

You may cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. We do not issue partial-period refunds unless required by law.

Billing is handled via a third-party payment processor. By subscribing, you agree to their terms as presented at checkout.

VoltEstimate is provided "as is" and "as available." We make reasonable efforts to keep the service available and reliable, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free access.

We are not liable for any downtime, data loss, or service interruptions caused by our infrastructure providers, third-party platforms, internet disruptions, or events outside our reasonable control.

No specific uptime level or service level agreement (SLA) is promised or implied.

VoltEstimate, its design, software, and brand are owned by us and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. Nothing in these terms grants you rights to our IP other than the right to use the service as described.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, VoltEstimate and its operators are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, revenue, data, or business, arising out of your use of or inability to use the service.

Our total liability to you for any claim arising from these terms or your use of the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim, or USD $100, whichever is greater.

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain liability exclusions or limitations. In those jurisdictions, our liability is limited to the extent permitted by law.

You may close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your account for breach of these terms, fraudulent activity, or non-payment, with or without notice depending on the severity.

Upon termination, your right to use the service ends. We will handle your data in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

These terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which VoltEstimate's operating entity is registered (to be specified once the entity is finalised). Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of that jurisdiction, unless applicable consumer law in your country grants you additional local rights.

We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by email or in-app notice at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use of the service after that date constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
